Category: Switzerland 03.04.2010 1033 ZURICH PRIDE FESTIVAL: 3.-6. JUNE 2010 |
The Zurich Pride Festival combines the best out of the political aspects of the annual Christopher Street Day (CSD) movements and the in 2009 hosted Europride.
The Festival will last from 3.-6. June 2010 for 4 days including an opening and closing party, 2 days Festival area with bars, food and big stage shows, several gay and lesbian orientated parties, LGBT themed conventions, cultural and cinematic shows as well as a politically motivated party parade throughout the city centre. Up to 30‘000 visitors are expected to join this festival.
This associaton is non profit orientated.
Our mission: Do Ask – Do Tell
This year our festival and the political demonstration parade will shine under the motto “Do Ask- Do Tell”. The chosen motto has to be understood as an invitation for communication, might it be between men and women, gays and lesbians, homo- and heterosexuals, people with different skin colour, religion, cultural background or opinion.
It’s standing for an open intercourse as well as the integration of minorities and for the reduction of prejudices and fears, might it be about subjects such as outing inside the family, adoption or HIV/Aids.
